If you’re one of the 1600 or so undergraduate students who call the Civil and Environmental Engineering Building home, you’re automatically a member of CEVSOC: the largest UNSW School of Engineering student society at UNSW.

Our events are aimed at giving you the most fulfilling university experience possible.

We run events almost every week, both on and off campus.

A spectacular interfaculty harbour cruise, where creatively costumed students take to the high seas

First Year Camp in Term one, to give new students the opportunity to find friends, get advice from older students, and have fun!

Professional Development Camp in Term 3, targeted at third year and above students who are keen to learn more about potential career paths and develop important personal and professional skills

Industry networking evenings

The legendary Final Year Dinner, celebrating the achievements of our fellow students alongside Industry Partners

Our team in numbers...

Subcommittee Members

If you are interested in joining the team, we highly encourage you to look out for our subcommittee applications, which open mid term 3 for second year students and up, and mid term 1 for first year students. Joining the team is a great opportunity to make lots of new friends and develop some soft skills like communication and time management.
